[Ford knows that spending birthdays by yourself can be very lonely. It isn't the same as Jon, of course -- Ford was missing the absence of a twin, and he has the idea that Jon hasn't had a similar history of someone there to make a fuss. But also, Jon has friends here, and it's nice to be remembered.]
Nothing too raucous, of course. What do you think? This hotel has to have a lounge or deck of some sort. We could take it over for a few hours. I'm sure no one would mind.
