[ bj will receive a squawk for his efforts, and then the most awkward pat on the back imaginable. ]

[ a very curious - and large - young dog will immediately start crowding BJ's legs. ]

[ he sounds long-suffering. ]

I'll put water on for tea. Do you drink tea?

[He sits down. on the floor where he was just standing, because of course he wants to roll around with the dog]

[ winnie is INCREDIBLY STOKED about this new large playmate. she's just going to lunge immediately at him.

martin rolls his eyes and brings out the tea. ]

[he is straight up playing like a dog too, on all fours to woof back at Winnie]

[ he's going to take a crumb of bread and flick it at BJ's head.

[ martin stares for a moment, then concedes and tosses another crumb his way. ]
