Just a question: does your dog bite, sir?

[ He's used to Mercury. Who, uh... tended to bite his head. Or his arm. Or pretty much anywhere he could. It wasn't that big a deal but he'd rather know so he can wear clothing he doesn't mind getting damaged.]

--oh, no, my partner trained her out of that pretty early. She's very well-behaved.

How often do you need her walked, sir?

I said with me, not for me. I usually take her out a couple times a day.

[ He swallows, audibly.]

And what time would you like me to accompany you?

[ martin winces a little at the swallow. ]

Hey, um- you can call me Martin, if you'd like? And are you free at six?

All right, sir.

I'm free all the time, s- Martin. The only jobs I have here can be done most any time.

I- it's Randel, right? You don't need to call me 'mister,' either.

And yes, sir, it's Randel. The announcement said 'Oland' but Oland's just a name I made up when they enlisted me.
